Imperial was founded by Gerhard W. Bueckert after years working in the drain and sewer industry, including time with one of North America’s largest plumbing franchises. What he observed was a consistent pattern on both ends of the market.
The large corporate operators had the equipment, the pricing power, and the brand recognition — but not always the thoroughness. Jobs were completed to a standard that restored flow, invoiced at a premium rate, and moved on. The question of whether the work was done as well as it could be was not always asked.
On the other end, smaller independent operators often had the work ethic but not the equipment, the systems, or the standards to deliver consistently at a professional level. Customers were left choosing between two versions of compromise.

Drop cloths from the entrance to the worksite on every job. All surfaces and doorknobs touched by our technician are cleaned before we leave. Your home is treated with the same care on the way out as it was on the way in.
Service reports, camera footage, records of cleaning, and written recommendations are provided where applicable. You leave with a record of what was found and what was done — not just a receipt.
When a job requires services beyond our scope — pipe lining, excavation, plumbing repair, or site restoration — we refer within a vetted network of trusted specialists. This includes our sister company, Pembina Cleaning Co., which handles sewer backup restoration, job site cleanup, and excavation cleanup. Licensed plumbers and restoration contractors in the network are held to the same standard we hold ourselves to. You are never handed off to someone we wouldn’t use ourselves.
